Visegrád Group

19 April 2021

Envision AI workshops are one part of the implementation effort for the Microsoft Responsible AI Standard. In this session, we aim to provide policymakers with a practical experience of how we think through responsible AI problems with our product teams. The session will be highly interactive and discussion-based, as we cover how Microsoft is evolving the mindset of our product teams to ask difficult questions and the rules that we have developed to enact our AI principles.

At Microsoft, we are on a journey towards human centered and responsible design, development and use of AI technologies. In this session we will share the latest initiatives, tools and systems we are building to enable the implementation of Microsoft Responsible AI rules and processes across our engineering groups. We will showcase the practices and tools that our engineers and customers use, how they shape the technologies we release.

The panel will discuss the common responsibility of public and private sector to develop trustworthy and ethical AI. It will focus on the framework of the necessary AI rules to achieve an ecosystem of trust and excellence that will enable cooperation while respecting democracy and European values.
